Achievements

Achievements are badges you earn by reaching milestones in your collection. Access from Achievements in the navigation.

Rarity tiers

Each achievement has a rarity that reflects how rare it is across all ScaleVault users:

Rarity	Color	Threshold
Common	Gray	Earned by more than 25% of users
Uncommon	Green	Earned by 10–25% of users
Rare	Blue	Earned by 3–10% of users
Epic	Violet	Earned by 1–3% of users
Legendary	Gold	Earned by 0.5–1% of users
Mythical	Rainbow	Earned by fewer than 0.5% of users — the rarest badges on the platform

How to earn achievements

Achievements are awarded automatically when you hit a threshold — you don't need to manually claim anything. Examples:

• First animal added — add your first animal record.
• Feeding streak — log feedings consistently for a set number of days.
• First clutch — record your first clutch outcome.
• First successful morph calculation — save a morph calculator result.
• Collection size milestones — reach 10, 50, 100+ animals in your account.

Some achievements track community firsts — the first user to earn a given badge is shown on the card as a 🥇 marker.

Gallery view

The gallery shows all achievements, earned and unearned. Unearned achievements are shown at reduced opacity so you can see what's coming next. You can sort by:

• Category — groups related achievements together
• Rarity (rarest first)
• Recently earned
• Alphabetical

Tips

• Achievements are per-account, not per-user — they reflect your collection's history, not just your personal logins.
• Toast notifications pop up in the corner when a new achievement is earned. Check the gallery if you miss a toast.
