Email delivery troubleshooting
If a verification, password reset, or member invite email doesn't arrive, work through this list.
1. Check spam and quarantine
Especially for first-time emails from a new sender. Whitelist the
From address.
2. Confirm the address
Go back to the form (sign-up, invite) and re-check the typed email. ScaleVault won't tell you "user not found" on password reset to avoid account-existence leaks, so a typo just looks like nothing happened.
3. Wait 60 seconds
The mail queue is asynchronous; transient SMTP delays can add up to a minute.
4. Domain reputation
Free email providers (Gmail, Outlook) sometimes silently drop mail from new senders. If emails continue to miss, contact support.
