ScaleVault is designed to scale from a single pet snake to a multi-facility breeding operation. The features overlap, but each persona uses a different subset of the app day-to-day.

🦎 Hobbyist

You keep a handful of animals as pets. You want a tidy record of feedings, weights, sheds, and vet notes — and you want it on your phone when you're at the enclosure.

Use ScaleVault for:

• One enclosure per animal, no sites or racks needed.
• Simple feeding and weight logs.
• Photos and a timeline you can show off.
• One QR code per animal, taped to the enclosure, for one-tap feeding.

Skip: sites, multi-user, breeding, lineage, any plan above Hatchling.

🐍 Breeder

You manage 20–500 animals, run pairings each season, and need to track clutches, hatchlings, and parentage going back generations.

Use ScaleVault for:

• Species library with humidity, temperature, and incubation ranges.
• Pairings → clutches → bulk offspring entry workflow.
• Auto-calculated COI (coefficient of inbreeding) and lineage trees.
• Per-rack or per-shelf enclosures with QR codes.
• Quick-feed defaults per animal so the QR scan logs the right meal.
• Public profile pages for animals you have for sale.
