Events & reminders

Anything that doesn't fit a built-in category (feeding, weight, shed) can go in as an Event.

Built-in event types

Every account starts with a useful baseline:

• Vet visit
• Medication
• Quarantine in / out
• Custody change
• Sale / acquisition

Custom event types

Add your own at Account → Event types. Each type has:

• Name
• Color — drives the dot color on the timeline
• Icon — emoji or built-in glyph
• Default reminder? — when on, creating one of these events offers to schedule a follow-up reminder

Examples keepers create:

• "Misted enclosure"
• "Probed to confirm sex"
• "UV bulb replacement"
• "Buyer deposit received"

Reminders

Each event can carry a next-due date. Open dashboard → Reminders to see what's overdue and what's coming up. Reminders can be linked to animals, enclosures, or pairings.
