Events

Anything that doesn't fit a built-in category (feeding, weight, shed) can go in as an Event.

Built-in event types

Every account starts with a useful baseline (you can disable any of these you don't use):

• Injury
• Regurgitation
• Vet Visit
• Health Check
• Medication
• Quarantine
• Brumation
• Gravid
• Lay

Custom event types

Add your own at Account → Event types. Each type has:

• Key/Name
• Color — drives the dot color on the timeline

Examples keepers create:

• "Misted enclosure"
• "Probed to confirm sex"
• "UV bulb replacement"
• "Buyer deposit received"

Logging an event

Each event records an animal, event type, location, date, optional injury to animal / injury to person flags, notes, and file attachments. Events appear on the animal's timeline alongside feedings, weights, and sheds.
