Messages

Available on Colony plan and above, as part of the same "Tasks & Messaging" feature that unlocks to-do tasks. Access from Messages in the main navigation.

Sending a message

Click New message, pick a teammate from the member list, write your message, and send. There are no threads or subjects — just a flat inbox of messages to and from each person.

Reading messages

Unread messages are badge-counted in the nav. Open one to mark it read. This is for quick coordination between staff ("fed row 3 already", "quarantine tub needs a water change") — for reaching ScaleVault support, use Notifications & support instead.
